The ability of printed matter to alter and create new schools of thought and ways of life has long been established. Books and other publications often carry such weight that a mere evocation of their titles will unravel a host of emotions and ideas that can change the course of a discussion, or alter someone’s beliefs. They are used by the artists as social agents—intervening in public space to expose an audience to new opportunities and alternative concepts. The projects range from publishing and correspondence to performance and video documentation.
