Art Crossing Borders with Artist’s Books: Bristol Welcoming Brazil

“This July, twenty Brazilian artists cross the ocean with books that unfold beyond pages — fragments of memory, folds of time, voices made of image, word, and silence.
Invited by artist and researcher Sarah Bodman, this exhibition brings to Bristol the poetic work of the São Paulo-based study group “Artist’s books, book-objects: among traces and effacement.” Collage, print, embroidery, photography, video, sound — each book is a gesture of remembrance, invention, and crossing.”
