“Artists books and bookbinding is a rather new artistic genre here up North. But for a start Katuaq has just hosted a 3 days intensive workshop for local, professional artists who all participated with great enthusiasm. As the curator of the exhibition and teacher of the workshop I really enjoyed the privileges of introducing what I think is the first class of artists’ books and bookbinding at these latitudes.” – Hanne Matthiesen.
